This is because Jesus Himself emphasised faith over and over. He taught that all things are possible to him who has faith (Mark 9:23).
He did not say “All things are possible if we pray more” or “if we try harder”. Nothing can take the place of faith in receiving from God. Faith is the victory for every area of life (1 John 5:4).
If there was ever a time the Church needs to be strong in faith, it is surely today. These are days where everything that can be shaken will be, but when our lives are built on absolute trust on the firm foundation of the Word of God, we will be able to stand and not just stand, but go from glory to glory and strength to strength.
